Welcome

I would like to welcome you to our school. I do hope that on this website you will find all the information you require about us and give you a flavour of Kaye’s First & Nursery School.

Kaye’s is a welcoming and friendly village school at the heart of the community it serves. We are situated in Clayton West a former mining but now dormitory village that lies nine miles from Huddersfield and close to the border with Barnsley and Wakefield.

At Kaye’s we offer high quality learning in a stimulating and supportive environment. We encourage all children to strive for excellence from when they join us at three to when they leave us for Middle School at ten. We have high expectations for all children and are proud of their academic and personal achievements.

I feel honoured to be the Headteacher of a school with such wonderful children, supportive parents, dedicated staff and a committed governing body. Should you wish to visit our school, you will be welcomed into our school community with open arms.
