The key aim of this Facebook group is to share the children’s home learning journeys as we all embark on this strange new way of learning.

We aim to allow parents and children to connect with one another and stay connected with the school community as a whole.

It is not a place where we will share updates on the current situation, these will continue in the usual way or a place to ask the teachers specific questions, this can still be done on DB primary.

Even though this is a private group please only use children’s first names and avoid pictures which would identify your address. This is to help us underpin the learning we provide to children around internet safety.

By joining this group you agree to abide by the group rules.

This group will not be monitored 24 hours a day so please be patient with us.:)

Thank you

Our Learning

Every time you visit our website please click on Kaye's Blog and Kaye's Nursery Blog to view our recent learning.

I would like to welcome you to our school. I do hope that on this website you will find all the information you require about us and give you a flavour of Kaye’s First & Nursery School.

Kaye’s is a welcoming and friendly village school at the heart of the community it serves. We are situated in Clayton West a former mining but now dormitory village that lies nine miles from Huddersfield and close to the border with Barnsley and Wakefield.

At Kaye’s we offer high quality learning in a stimulating and supportive environment. We encourage all children to strive for excellence from when they join us at three to when they leave us for Middle School at ten. We have high expectations for all children and are proud of their academic and personal achievements.

I feel honoured to be the Headteacher of a school with such wonderful children, supportive parents, dedicated staff and a committed governing body. Should you wish to visit our school, you will be welcomed into our school community with open arms.
